Brief Description:
Please join us at this event where we will discuss the rules, regulations, and safety policies for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) operations in Yuma. FAA Safety Team Program Managers Ernie Copeland and Tina Buskirk will present on FAA Rule Part 107 for commercial operators, to be followed by a presentation on rules and safety considerations for hobbyists. Next, Dr. Sarah Nilsson will discuss UAS law and court precedence. Last, John Nunes will present on the procedure for public use authorizations. MCAS Yuma ATC personnel will also be on hand to answer questions.
