SE Arizona Wings Seminar April 21st, 2018

It's Spring, and time to dust off some of those tired flying brain cells. Join us at the Sierra Vista Public Works Department at 401 Guilio Cesare Ave in Sierra Vista from 9AM to Noon on April 21st for interactive seminars related to aviation decision making. We will do one VFR and on IFR scenario with audience participation, and a refresher on key aeronautical knowledge elements.

Directions to the venue:

Flying In: Transportation to the event and return to airport will be available. Please contact James Short (520-261-0373 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) PRIOR TO the event date if you need transportation. First time to Sierra Vista and the R-airspace? Check NOTAMs and listen to ATIS. If the tower is closed, KFHU is an uncontrolled airport with the tower freq as CTAF, and no restricted airspace. Tower open? Call approach/radar outside the R-airspace and they will guide you in. Best is to follow Hwy 90 southbound from Benson and below 8000' to the airport. The civilian ramp is on the north side of the airfield.

Driving: from the intersection of Fry Blvd & SR 92 drive east 1 mile on SR 90; turn north on Guilio Cesare, then 4 blocks to Public Works parking on the right. Look for event signs.
