The presentation will include an overview of the 1800WXBRIEF website, how to create an account, navigating weather pages and obtaining briefings, filing flight plans, and other information available on the website..

This will be an interactive event. Bring your laptop or tablet/phone to participate. Please ensure your device is fully charged - availability of power outlets in the room is very limited.

Flying In: Transportation to the event and return to airport will be available. Please contact James Short (info below) BEFORE the event date if you need transportation.

Driving: from the intersection of Fry Blvd & SR 92 drive east 1 mile on SR 90; turn north on Guilio Cesare, then 0.4 miles to Public Works parking on the right. Look for event signs.

This program will run from 9 AM to 11 AM. If you need transportation from the airport, you should be inside the terminal building no later than 8:30 to allow time to get from the airport to the meeting.

Fly in arrivals: Contact James Short (520-261-0373Call: 520-261-0373) prior to seminar date to confirm transportation to/from event. Please check NOTAMs and ATIS (Weather) - 134.75. Restricted Area (R2303A/B/C) and tower are normally not active on weekends - but check NOTAMs for changes. If active, contact APP (127.05), follow ATC instructions; otherwise treat as non-tower arrival on CTAF (124.95). Rwy 26, 30, and 21 are right-traffic. South side of airport is for military only. Park on north side of airport in GA Parking east of terminal. Volunteers will be in the terminal to assist you with transportation to the event.

Notes: ASOS on 119.675 has been decomissioned. Weather is on ATIS - 134.75. Restricted Area R-2312 to south of airfield is active 24/7, surface to 15,000 MSL.
