  Military Operations Area (MOA), over Roosevelt Lake in the Tonto\nNational
  Forest in eastern Arizona, supports the annual Air Combat Command Exercise
  ANGEL\nTHUNDER. The exercise is designed to provide Combat Search and Resc
 ue (CSAR) training for combat\naircrews, para-rescue personnel, intelligenc
 e personnel, battle managers and joint search and rescue center\npersonnel.
  The execution of Exercise ANGEL THUNDER allows combat air forces to practi
 ce effective\nintegration/application of air and space power in the search 
 and rescue mission. Training will include night\nextracts and night ground 
 infiltration/evasion/exfiltration scenarios at the Playas training facility
 .\n\n\nThe ROOSEVELT LAKE Temporary MOA will be activated during Exercise A
 NGEL THUNDER for\naircraft and parachute operations involved in the CSAR ex
 ercise. Aerial activities will consist of typical\nMOA flight operations to
  include tactical combat maneuvering by fighter and transport fixed and rot
 ary wing\naircraft, freefall and static line parachute operations, non-stan
 dard formation flights, rescue escort\nmaneuvering, and aerial helicopter r
