 fun at the City of Mesa’s Falcon Field Airport annual Open House 9 a.m.-2 p
 .m. Saturday, March 7.  Show off your pride and joy to aviation enthus
 iasts, make new contacts, and learn about the many on-airport services avai
 lable to Arizona’s business and recreational pilots!\nThe Open House will b
 e held on airport ramps and at nearby Falcon Field Park, 4636 East Fighter 
 Aces Drive (north of McKellips Road between Greenfield and Higley roads). G
 eneral and disabled parking is available at the airport entrance on the nor
 th side of McKellips Road east of Greenfield Road. Additional parking with 
 shuttles to the event site also will be available on the west side of Higle
 y road north of McKellips Road.\nEvent admission and parking are FREE! Cann
 ed food donations will be accepted for the United Food Bank.\nEvent highlig
 hts include:\n\n - Aircraft displays featuring Boeing’s Apache helicopter, 
 vintage warbirds, experimental aircraft and general aviation planes. Ramp s
 ecurity and trained aircraft marshallers will be on duty for aircraft displ
 ays.\n - Flight simulator hosted by the Civil Air Patrol.\n - Flight traini
 ng and aviation career information provided by representatives of area educ
 ation programs, businesses and aviation organizations.\n - Historical exhib
 its about Falcon Field’s origin as a World War II pilot training base at th
 e Commemorative Air Force Airbase Arizona Aviation Museum. The museum also 
 will host the Southwest Military Transport Show. They can be accessed from 
 the Open House event site. Special Open House pricing is only $5 person/$10
  family for the museum and military vehicle show.\n - More than 100 classic
  cars at the Impala Bob’s Car Show!\n - Model railroad exhibits by Arizona 
 Big Train Operators and Grand Canyon Model Railroaders!\n - Food, music and
  aircraft fly-overs will add to the fun!\n\n\nFor information or to exhibit
