Beyond this and the airstrip will be closed except for eve ning departures on Saturday the 14th. If you are coming from the Phoenix, or other area close enough to drive, we need you to drive, and wil l have the gate open for this weekend only.\nAll Meals are provided!!\nFrid ay Dinner, Saturday Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner\n    Cloth ing and Personal Protection Equipment Necessary! Shoes need to be clos ed toed and leather like hiking shoes .  Steel toes will not be requir ed. Pants need to be cotton heavy blue jeans or regular blue jeans again th ey should be old and ready to get black spots on them. Shirts also need to be cotton and long sleeved. Also wool is acceptable but maybe too warm. It is handy to have a big cotton handkerchief to wrap around your neck.   But not so big as to have loose ends that would get stuck in moving machin ery  parts . Gloves that are leather or thicker leather for your hands . The longer the gauntlet up the arm the better. Safety glasses of dark or clear. Earplugs may be optional but some people like them, and the hat, sam e thing cotton no synthetics. Baseball caps work well . Ross can also be a source of low cost leather sneakers and such. Be certain they are not artificial leather! Don't forget a hat and sun block! Push brooms, flat blade shovels, gas pow ered blowers and rakes may be of help, and if you can bring a gas grill siz ed full propane tank, as we may need extra supplies for our weed burners.\n \n\nDirections:\n\n\n \n\n\nFrom the Payson and the dam bridge end on highway 188 you will go towards Globe and at milepost 238 with Adopt-A-High way sign "The Otis family", go 0.5 miles past and on the left hand side the re will be the turn off with gate and cattle guard with ribbon tape.\n\n\n& nbsp;\n\n\nFrom the Globe end of highway 188 at milepost 237, " Ewings fami ly and puppies " sign, - from there go 0.4 miles and turn right through gat e and cattle guard marked with ribbin tape.\n\n\n\nAlso from the Globe end the turnoff is past the grapevine group site turn off on highway 188.\n&nbs p;About 6 of the volunteers will be dedicated to keeping you fed and hydrat ed, and the meals look like this: Friday 11/13      ;         Dinner, Burgers and Beans, served about 5:00P M Saturday 11/14              Sat Breakfast – Chief Cook: Paul & Charlie, pancakes, eggs and sau sage; you won't want to miss this! Landings will be taking place on Friday by those living too far to drive, or some having other nece ssity to fly in. We need to limit fly ins as much as possible. Saturda y - It's bright eyed and bushy tailed by 6:30 so we can get our fill of and get a safety brief and training before the the first crew begins work at 7 :00AM. We'll be rotating crews throughout the day, giving each team several opportunities pitch in.
