 tion of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in the national airspace system. Sp
 eakers for the event include Ernie Copeland, FAASTeam Program Manager at th
 e SDL FSDO, and Sarah Nilsson, JD, PhD, MAS, CFI/II.\n\n\nThe FAA's UAS Int
 egration Office (AFS-80) is the Agency's single point of contact for everyt
 hing UAS. It was established in 2013 with a vision for safe, timely, and ef
 ficient integration of UAS into the National Airspace System (NAS). The UAS
  Integration Office collaboratively develops operating concepts, policies, 
 requirements, criteria, and procedures for new system evaluations, integrat
 ion, and implementation of emerging UAS technologies. It is the sponsoring 
 office for all FAA UAS Research and Development initiatives, and coordinate
 s all UAS operational authorizations, including Certificate of Waiver or Au
