mp; Acknowledgement of Industry Sponsor(s):\nThe AZ FAASTeam is being suppo
rted by, and we'd like to recognize, the Casa Grande Airport Manager Richar
d Wilkie and the Chandler/Casa Grande EAA chapter 1445, for their personal
contributions to the FAASTeam. They provide facilities, personnel and logis
tical support for this FAASTeam seminar.\n\n\n*Seminar runs approximately 1
 0:00 A.M. TO NOON.*\n\n\nRunway incursions are a major factor in aviation s
afety. While many things have been done to reduce the accident rate in Gene
ral Aviation and the Air Carrier Industry, both sides of the aviation house
are still experiencing far too many runway incursions. This could be the r
esult of "Read back - Hear back" issues, poor airport signage, pilot inatte
ntion/knowledge or a combination of factors. Runway safety is a major conce
rn for all pilots and if you have been around aviation for a long period of
time you have probably seen some close calls on the runways and taxiways,
or even been involved in some yourself. Come learn about this Airport and g
ive your input to the Team so they can work on improving the airport for al
l who fly there.\n\n\nPilot airspace deviations continue to be a major risk
in the national airspace system. To reduce the chance that you might be in
volved in an airspace deviation incident, you are highly encouraged to take
an on-line learning center course such as ALC 42, ALC 154, and ALC90 on ww
w.faasafety.gov, or search the learning library for associated guidance on
airspace incursions. Remember, safe and prudent airmen have superior situat
ional awareness and have a plan to keep it that way. \n* see PDA flyer atta
ched below\n\n\nThanks! A message from your local FAASTeam.\n\n\nEqual Acce
