Industry Sponsor(s):\nThe AZ FAASTeam is being supported by, and we'd like

rstate Fly-In Board of Directors, the CopperState Fly-In Forums Chair John
Harlow and the Treasurer and Exhibit Chairman Marty Kirkhuff for their pers

logistical support for this annual FAASTeam seminar conducted as part of th
e CopperState Fly-In attracting airmen from all over Arizona.\n\n\n*Seminar
runs approximately 1:00 P.M.--3:00 P.M.*\n\n\nAll Forums during Copperstat
e are included in the price of Admission. There is not a separate fee to at
tend any of the forums.\n\n\nRunway incursions are a major factor in aviati
on safety. While many things have been done to reduce the accident rate in
General Aviation and the Air Carrier Industry, both sides of the aviation h
ouse are still experiencing far too many runway incursions. This could be t
he result of "Read back - Hear back" issues, poor airport signage, pilot in
attention/knowledge or a combination of factors. Runway safety is a major c
oncern for all pilots and if you have been around aviation for a long perio
d of time you have probably seen some close calls on the runways and taxiwa
ys, or even been involved in some yourself. Come learn about this Airport a
nd give your input to the Team so they can work on improving the airport fo
r all who fly there.\n\n\nPilot airspace deviations continue to be a major
risk in the national airspace system. To reduce the chance that you might b
e involved in an airspace deviation incident, you are highly encouraged to
take an on-line learning center course such as ALC 42, ALC 154, and ALC90 o
n www.faasafety.gov. Or search the learning library for associated guidance
on airspace incursions. Remember, safe and prudent airmen have superior si
tuational awareness and have a plan to keep it that way. PDA_Flyer.pdf unde

al FAASTeam.\n\n\nEqual Access Information:\nThe FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam)
