\n\n\nAdditional Event Information & Acknowledgement of
Industry Sponsor(s):\nThe FAASTeam expresses its gratitude to EAA Chapter
586 and the Show Low Airport Authority for hosting this seminar.\n\n\nRunwa
y incursions are a major factor in aviation safety. While many things have
been done to reduce the accident rate in General Aviation and the Air Carri
er Industry, both sides of the aviation house are still experiencing far to
o many runway incursions. This could be the result of "Read back - Hear bac
k" issues, poor airport signage, pilot inattention/knowledge or a combinati
on of factors. Runway safety is a major concern for all pilots and if you h
ave been around aviation for a long period of time you have probably seen s
ome close calls on the runways and taxiways, or even been involved in some
yourself. Come learn about this Airport and give your input to the Team so
they can work on improving the airport for all who fly there.\n\n\nPilot ai
rspace deviations continue to be a major risk in the national airspace syst
em. To reduce the chance that you might be involved in an airspace deviatio
n incident, you are highly encouraged to take an on-line learning center co
urse such as ALC 42, ALC 154, and ALC90 on www.faasafety.gov, or search the
learning library for associated guidance on airspace incursions. Remember,
safe and prudent airmen have superior situational awareness and have a pla
n to keep it that way.\n\n\nEqual Access Information:\nThe FAA Safety Team
(FAASTeam) is committed to providing equal access to this meeting/event for
all participants. If you need alternative formats or services because of a
disability, please communicate your request as soon as possible with the p
erson in the “Contact Information” area of the meeting/event no
tice. Note that two weeks is usually required to arrange services.\n\n\nCre
