  and/or taxiway changes, markings, lighting, electrical, signage, and proce
 dures. The team will also discuss open and recently closed action items, an
 d review runway incursions and surface deviations that have occurred in the

 unway incursions are a major factor in aviation safety. While many things h
 ave been done to reduce the accident rate in General Aviation and the Air C
 arrier Industry, both sides of the aviation house are still experiencing fa
 r too many runway incursions. This could be the result of "Read back - Hear
  back" issues, poor airport signage, pilot inattention/knowledge, expectati
 on bias, or a combination of factors. Runway safety is a major concern for 
 all pilots and if you have been around aviation for a long period of time y
 ou have probably seen some close calls on the runways and taxiways, or even
  been involved in some yourself.\n\n\nPilot airspace deviations continue to
  be a major risk in the national airspace system. To reduce the chance that
  you might be involved in an airspace deviation incident, you are highly en
 couraged to take an on-line learning center course such as ALC 42, ALC 154,
  and ALC90 on www.faasafety.gov, or search the learning library for associa
 ted guidance on airspace incursions. Remember, safe and prudent airmen have
  superior situational awareness and have a plan to keep it that way.\n\n\nT
