 our second weekend getaway of 2024 to the Grand Canyon for Friday 5/24 - Su
 nday 5/26.\n\n\nHere is the preliminary itinerary:\n\n\n \n\n\nFriday 
 5/24\n\n - ·Everyone arrives at Grand Canyon National Park Airport (KGCN). 
 KGCN is a Class D airport just south of the South Rim.\n - ·Shuttle bus int
 o the Grand Canyon National Park. Please bring your national park pass if y
 ou have one. We’ll get around on foot and by park shuttle bus once inside t
 he park.\n - ·Short hike / sight-seeing along Rim Trail.\n - ·Overnight at 
 Maswik Lodge.\n\n \n\n\nSaturday 5/25\n\n - ·Longer hike or bike ride 
 along the Rim Trail. Options include Hermits Rest, 1 1/2 Mile House (3 mile
 s round trip into canyon), or the 3 Mile House (6 miles round trip into can
 yon).\n - ·Overnight at Maswik Lodge.\n\n \n\n\nSunday 5/26\n\n - ·Shu
 ttle bus back to KCGN.\n - ·Leave for home.\n\n \n\n\nI’m not collecti
 ng any money up front for this. We’ll all pay our own way as we go for meal
 s and lodging. As we get closer, I’ll organize something for dinners both n
 ights. There will be a small fee for the shuttle bus rides to/from the park
 . We’ll be on foot or park shuttles while in the park.\n\n\nIf interested,
