Event Information & Acknowledgement of Industry Sponsor(s):*Note:
Prior to attending a safety seminar please review and abide by current CDC,
State and Local health guidelines.\nThis event is sponsored and hosted by
the Local EAA/VMC Club and the FAA Safety Team.\nThe EAA VMC Club prov
ides a "hangar flying" experience organized around visual flight, in o
rder to promote safety, education, and proficiency.\nEvery meeting consists
of a scenario presentation and group discussion about unusual or interesti
ng charts, changed rules and procedures, and member experiences.
We also have occasional guest speakers.\nThank you to the City o
f Chandler and Chandler Municipal Airport for their support and use of the
terminal meeting room.\nThank you to the Arizona Pilots Association \n
What is the EAA/VMC Club?\nThe EAA/VMC Club is modeled after the&
nbsp;popular IMC Club concept which provides organized “hangar flying”
focused on building proficiency in instrument flying. The EAA/VMC Clu
b will do the same, but for pilots who are not instrument rated and fly pri
marily under visual flight rules and VMC.\nWhat is the purpose of
EAA/VMC Club?\nAt EAA/VMC Club, our aim is to promote VFR flying, pro
ficiency, and safety. Along with monthly local meetings, we offer a r
esource-rich website which provides an electronic experience base.\nOur int
ent is to create a community of pilots to share information, provide recogn
ition, foster communications, promote safety and build proficiency in gener
al aviation. EAA/VMC Club offers monthly meetings in which pilots can
network and share knowledge and experiences.\nDo you need to bring anythin
g?\nFirst, bring your thoughts or story and be willing to share them with t
he group. This meeting is very interactive. Participation by th
e group is a fundamental element of the EAA/VMC Club meeting.\nOt
hers have found it helpful to bring along a copy of their flight manual, GP
S manual, and charts. If you navigate with an iPad, bring it along.\n
Who can attend?\nThis meeting is open to all current, non-current, and futu
re pilots.\nFor more information about the EAA/VMC Club, please visit
