 \n\nLaughlin Weekend Getaway\n\n\nOur first weekend getaway of 2024 to Laug
 hlin is in the final planning stages.  It is scheduled for Friday 3/1 
 - Sunday 3/3.  The trip will feature a welcome BBQ at the house of APA
  members Craig & Jody Narr, comedy show, trip to Oatman, river boat din
 ner cruise, and all the other things that come along with a weekend in a ca
 sino town.\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nHere is the itinerary:\n\n\nFriday 3/1\n\
 n - Everyone arrives at Sun Valley Airport (A20). Sun Valley is a fly-in co
 mmunity about 10 miles south of Laughlin / Bullhead City.  There are n
 o landing fees at Sun Valley.  And gas is very reasonably priced (curr
 ently $5.65 per gallon), so please plan on buying some gas to express your 
 appreciation.\n - BBQ lunch at the home of Craig & Jody Narr. Craig &am
 p; Jody are Sun Valley residents and have graciously offered to host our gr
 oup for a welcoming BBQ.\n - Comedy show @ LA Comedy Club in Laughlin.\n - 
 Dinner at a local restaurant TBD.\n - Overnight at the Riverside Resort Hot
 el.\n\n \n\n\nSaturday 3/2\n\n - Breakfast at a local restaurant TBD.\
 n - Trip to Oatman, AZ. Oatman is a historic mining town in the mountains a
 long old Route 66.  It is famous for its Wild West nostalgia, mining h
 istory, and burros that roam the town’s streets.  You’ll also get to d
 rive over a stretch of old Route 66 on the way.\n - River boat dinner cruis
 e on the Colorado River.\n - Overnight at the Riverside Resort Hotel.\n\n&n
 bsp;\n\n\n \n\n\nSunday 3/3\n\n - Breakfast at a local restaurant TBD.
 \n - Return to Sun Valley Airport, leave for home.\n\n \n\n\nI’m estim
 ating the cost (excluding lodging and some meals) to be $200 per person.&nb
 sp; That includes Friday’s BBQ lunch, ground transportation, the comedy sho
 w, and Saturday’s river boat dinner cruise.  Lodging at the Riverside

 andard mountain view room with 2 double beds.  You can upgrade to more
  desirable rooms for modest charges.  This rate is also contingent on 
 filling 10 rooms.  If we end up with less than 10 rooms, rates will be
