 \n\n\nNovember 1 - 3, 2024\n\n\nOur last weekend getaway of 2024 to Palm Sp
 rings is scheduled for Friday 11/1 - Sunday 11/3.  The trip will featu
 re the Palm Springs Air Museum, Palm Springs Tramway, plus a stay at the Ch
 ateau at Lake La Quinta.\n\n\nHere is the itinerary:\n\n\nFriday 11/1\n\n -
  Arrive at Palm Springs International Airport (KPSP). Palm Springs Internat
 ional has two FBOs (Signature and Atlantic).  I’ll let you know which 
 one we’ll plan to use as we get closer to November.\n - Spend late morning 
 / early afternoon at the Palm Springs Air Museum. This is a very good museu
 m with a wide variety of civilian and military aircraft on display.  I
 t is located adjacent to Palm Springs International Airport, so there will 
 be plenty of aircraft taking off and landing for your viewing pleasure.\n -
  Dinner at a local restaurant.\n - Overnight at the Chateau at Lake La Quin
 ta, which is a 24-room boutique hotel in nearby La Quinta.\n\n \n\n\nS
 aturday 11/2\n\n - Breakfast at the hotel.\n - Ride on the Palm Springs Tra
 mway. The tramway is the world’s largest rotating tram car, which transport
 s you roughly 6,000 feet from the valley floor up to the mountain ridge hig
 h above Palm Springs.  There are restaurants, bars, gift shops, and pl
 enty of hiking opportunities once up on the ridge.\n - Free time to explore
  Downtown Palm Springs, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars.\n - We
 ’ll meet for dinner at a local restaurant.\n - Overnight at the Chateau at 
 Lake La Quinta.\n\nSunday 11/3\n\n - Breakfast on your own.\n - Return to P
 alm Springs International, leave for home.\n\nI’ve reserved 5 rooms with ki
 ng beds (not including mine) at the hotel, which is all they had left when 
 I booked.  So, the first 5 singles/couples who get me a deposit are in
 .  I will also reserve rental cars which we’ll pick up at the airport 
 to provide ground transportation.\n\n\nI’m estimating the cost for the hote
 l, rental car, air museum, and tramway to be $675 for singles / $800 for co
