 ying" experience organized around instrument flight, in order to promote sa
 fety, education, and proficiency.\nEvery meeting consists of a scenario pre
 sentation and group discussion about unusual or interesting charts, changed
  rules and procedures, and member experiences.  We also have
  occasional guest speakers.\nThis Month Dr. Steinmetz will discus
 s whether you can file IFR to airports without approaches. What do you need
  to do to prepare for and safely execute them? How to find appropriate alti
 tudes for filing? \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\nAdditional Meeting Det
 ails:\n1-hour IMC Meeting begins at the conclusion of the VMC meeting 
 approximately 7:30, but sometimes runs late. If you are only attending the 
 IMC meeting please arrive by 7:30 and find or wait for a seat.\nBring your 
 EFB, your experience, your questions, and be ready to participate.\nAll are

  program resources in the form of actual IMC related scenarios designed to 
 encourage open discussion, and for all participants to answer the question 
 “What would you do if this happened to you?” \n\n\nWhat is the purpose
  of EAA/IMC Club?\nThe purpose of EAA Instrument Meteorological Conditions 
 (IMC) Clubs is to promote instrument flying, proficiency, and safety. The i
 ntent is to create a community of pilots willing to share information, prov
 ide recognition, foster communications, promote safety, and build proficien
 cy in instrument flying.\nEAA IMC Clubs are extensions to local EAA chapter
 s and offer monthly IMC program meetings where pilots can network and share
  knowledge and experiences. \n\n\nDo you need to bring anything?\nFirs
 t, bring your thoughts or story and be willing to share them with the group
 .  This meeting is very interactive.  Participation by the group 
 is a fundamental element to the EAA/IMC Club meeting.\nOthers hav
 e found it helpful to bring along a copy of their flight manual, GPS manual
 , and charts.  If you navigate with an iPad, bring it along.\n\n\nWho 
 can attend?\nYou don't need an instrument rating to attend.  This meet
 ing is open to all current, non-current, and future instrument pilots.\nCli

 le later. If you are only attending the IMC portion of the meeting please a
