 assport destinations\n\n \n\n\nOur March fly-out will be in southern A
 rizona as we head to Yuma International Airport.  Yuma is a great “win
 ter” flying destination before the summertime heat kicks in.  Due to g
 round transportation limitations, we’ve limited this fly-out to APA members
  only and a maximum of 16 persons.  We’ll have a wait list in case the
  16 slots fill before you’re able to RSVP.\n\n\nYuma International Airport:
 \n\n\nYuma International Airport is a shared military/civilian airport.&nbs
 p; Be sure to refer to your sectional charts as there are various restricte
 d airspaces around the airport.  Also, since there is regional airline
  service into Yuma, access to the tarmac will be through Million Air.\n\n\n
 Million Air FBO:\n\n\nWe’ve made arrangements for aircraft parking at the M
 illion Air FBO.  From Million Air, we’ll Uber/Taxi to our breakfast re
 staurant destination.  There is a chance we’ll be able to use courtesy
  cars if they’re available, but we’ll utilize Uber if courtesy cars aren’t 
 available when we land.\n\n\nThere are two fees for each aircraft…. a $30 p
 er aircraft FBO fee which is waived with a fuel purchase.  You can pur
 chase a minimum of 15 gallons, or a top-off and the $30 fee will be waived.
   Both self serve and full-serve is available.  Fuel prices are v
 ery attractive (100LL self-serve was $4.81 as of 3/17).  The second fe
 e is a modest $6 per aircraft facility fee which Million Air will collect.\
 n\n\nBreakfast destination – Yuma Landing Bar & Grill\n\n\nYuma Landing
  Bar & Grill has an aviation history unlike any other restaurant in Ari
 zona.  This restaurant is where the first plane landed in Arizona and 
 a State Monument located in front of restaurant marks the spot. The walls a
 re covered with over 200 pictures of the history of Yuma as well as the his
 toric event of Oct. 25, 1911. \n\n\nYuma Landing is also listed as an 
 “attraction” under the APA’s AZ Passport program.  Take advantage of o
 ur destination to collect a photo of you in front of the restaurant for cre
 dit in the passport program (no QR sign currently exists at this restaurant
 ).\n\n\nWrap-Up:\n\n\nAs always, be sure to thoroughly preflight both yours
 elf and your aircraft, and do a thorough flight planning as would be requir
 ed for any cross-country flight.  KNYL is a tower-controlled airport.&
