The NMPA Mountain Flying Familiarization Clinic is one of the premier aviation safety training events in the Southwest. It exists to provide new mountain pilots with the tools, techniques, and procedures to safely fly at the high density altitudes of the Mountain West. Participants will learn from seasoned New Mexico Mountain Flying instructors. Those who choose to participate in the optional mountain cross-country flights will get hands-on training in their own aircraft and enjoy spectacular views in northern New Mexico and Southern/Central Colorado.
