This is the 23rd annual Land of Enchantment fly in, moved to Double Eagle II Airport this year (from Moriarty) to celebrate 50 years of EAA in the Albuquerque area. Come early to see Albuquerque’s veteran airshow pilot and aviation business owner, Bob Carlton as he arrives in his jet sailplane! Bob plans to make this his longest powered cross country flight (from Moriarty, NM) in the BonusJet (see www.desertaerospace.com/). The Lobo Wing of the Commemorative Air Force also plans to fly over the Fairchild PT-26.
Awards will be given for Best Classic, Best Homebuilt, Best Light Sport, People’s Choice, Furthest Traveled, and the Best for various specialty classes (i.e. Best Warbird).
