Additional Event Information & Acknowledgement of Industry Sponsor(s):
*The 2013 FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam) Safety Program is being sponsored by the ARIZONA PILOTS ASSOCIATION (APA) safety program. We'd also like to recognize Wiseman Aviation management for their personal contributions to the AZ FAASTeam. They provide facilities, personnel, and logistical support for FAASTeam seminars.

*See attached pdf flyers for PDA & Personal Minimums checklist*

This seminar is also designed to concentrate on affects of airport surface safety. The program will identify problem areas and procedures that have led to surface incidents and incursions at the airport. AZ FAASTeam members and flight instructors will discuss the specific areas that have historically been problem areas or hot spots for surface navigation problems. All pilots, tenants, and students that operate at Flagstaff Airport are also welcome and encouraged to attend. We'll also focus on aspects of surface safety and will be tailored to the KFLG operating environment.

Pilot airspace deviations continue to be a major risk in the national airspace system. To reduce the chance that you might be involved in an airspace deviation incident, you are highly encouraged to take an on-line learning center course on www.faasafety.gov. Or search the learning library for associated guidance on airspace incursions. Remember, safe and prudent airmen have superior situational awareness and have a plan to keep it that way.

Thanks! A message from your local FAASTeam.
