New Mexico Wing Angel Flight Fly-In, at Double Eagle II Airport (KAEG) in Albuquerque
Anyone welcome! Angel Flight hosts guest speakers:
- Dave Hirschman, senior editor for AOPA
- Senator Jack Schmitt, former astronaut for Apollo 17
- Jerry Van Slambrook, a New Mexico Angel Flight pilot
Program starts at 9:00am with Angel Flight and guest introductions. From 9:30 – 11:00, a WINGS Safety Seminar, “Cockpit Resource Management in an Emergency” will be presented by Dave Hirschman and Jerry Van Slambrook. For those interested in learning more about Angel Flight, an informational session starts at 11am. Breakfast and lunch are provided. Door and raffle prizes have been donated by Sandia Aerospace, Shelton Jewelers, and others.
