Flyin to Murrow Ranch

Rol Murrow is hosting an informal flyin at his strip in northern NM.  There will be a breakfast Saturday morning (the 16th), but those of you who would like to flyin and camp on Friday evening or Saturday evening are welcome.  If you haven’t been to Rol’s place yet, it is a really beautiful spot (just north of Lindrith).  

Don’t miss this opportunity to see northern NM at its finest!!

 

 

The strip is primitive and all pilots must receive a briefing document by email and obtain permission to land. Also, space is limited.

The identifier is NM99 and it is on the Continental Divide about 95 nautical miles north of Albuquerque.

My cell is 505-362-8232, but for regular communications email is best.

This is a special update for those who already indicated interest in and/or an RSVP for the Fly - In on my ranch on the weekend of May 15-16-17.
 
Since you have indicated your interest I will send you soon a briefing sheet and form to fill out so you are aware of the safety recommendations and I can know your plans, in order to prepare for the event.  Please be sure to fill out the form and confirm you will be attending - or not!
 
 
First, you will likely see an email shortly sent to everyone in the NMPA RAC and the NMPA reminding them of the event.  You don't need to reply to that.  If you received this email you will receive the briefing pack.
 
 
When you get the briefing package please read it carefully and then send back the completed form as soon as possible.
 
So far the weather looks promising!  If we get an unexpected rain and the strip will be muddy I will notify everyone and reschedule the event.

The Fly-In has been canceled and I will very likely reschedule it to May 30.
