Greetings everyone! For our February Day Trip, we’ll be heading south to a new destination: Nogales International Airport (KOLS).
Copper Mountain Air, the FBO located at KOLS, is sponsoring an Open House event to exhibit some of the added aircraft and pilot services that are now available at the airport.
Breakfast will be available at the airport. In addition to the airport restaurant (which is modest in size, but reportedly has good food), there will be food trucks which will be on-site for the Open House.
As always, please RSVP if you plan to attend. Last minute information updates are sent via email directly to those on our RSVP list.
As always, be sure to thoroughly preflight both yourself and your aircraft. And do a thorough flight planning as would be required for any cross-country flight. KOLS is a non-tower-controlled airport, so pilots are encouraged to review Advisory Circular 90-66C for proper operation in non-towered airports.
