The 18th Annual Wickenburg Fly-in & Classic Car Show

Saturday, October 13, 2012 – 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

The Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce, Town of Wickenburg,Wickenburg Airport Advisory Commission, Experimental Aircraft Association “Wickenburg Dust Devils” Chapter 883, are proud to co-sponsor the 18th Annual Aircraft Fly-In & Classic Car Show on Saturday, October 13th at the Municipal Airport /Wellik Field off Highway 60.

Starting at 7:30 a.m., an array of aircraft from all over Arizona will be flying into Wickenburg to participate. Pilots will be available to describe their aircraft throughout the day. The Classy Classic Car Club will display over 70 classic automobiles for spectators to view and learn from car owners.

Vendors will also be selling items and/or handing out information.

A pancake breakfast sponsored by EAA will be served from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.,followed by the Lions Club “Lunch Stop” trailer with many more good things to eat. Throughout the morning, you’ll have an opportunity to view the various aircraft flying into Wickenburg and learn of the services available at the airport.

Other informational booths will be present.

The public is invited to visit Wickenburg throughout the day, taking in local attractions, such as the Desert Caballeros Western Museum, Hassayampa River Preserve, Vulture Mine, and the indoor/outdoor sales of the Horsethieves Market, and while enjoying shopping at our local businesses, antique shops, take time to stroll around town and enjoy eating at our many dining establishments.
