The Breakfast Club Heads to Mimi's Cafe in Yuma

Next Saturday is our April event to Yuma and Mimi’s Café. Plan on arriving by no later than 0900. I have two vans reserved at MillionAir. The restaurant is about 10-minutes from the FBO. If this is your first time going to NYL, plan on navigating to JUDTH intersection which is the “gateway” to the corridor that goes between the restricted zones that dominate the area. You may call Yuma Approach from there (124.7) or wait until reaching MOHAK (125.55) intersection that is 35 miles east of the airport. If the wind is calm, they may give you runway 8 but you can request a straight-in on 26 and most of the time, they will give you that runway or wait until the tower (119.3) will inform you which runway you will get. MillionAir is on the west side of the field off of taxiway Z. A straight-in on 26 with a roll-out all the way to the end, will get you there with a left turn to the south. In all likelihood, the MillionAir folks will direct you to parking on the ramp that is on the south side of the building. Until we make the switch at JUDTH, monitor 123.45 for our group flight following. Who knows, we might get lucky and get to watch some of the marine aircraft in operation.
