Hey gang, the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest, Clifton District, has invited the pilot community, through the APA and Recreational Aviation Foundation, for a second year now to participate in the National Public Lands Day! This is an opportunity to build our friendship, working side by side with local residents, and National Forest personnel on repairs at the historic Double Circle Ranch and airstrip on Eagle Creek. We'll be building, oiling, and cleaning up some of the old structures. Mark your calendar for September 27-29 for a time to remember at the old Double Circle.

Hosts: Mark Spencer, Ty Greenwade, Tommy Thomason

Meals are potluck, but the APA will provide burgers for Saturday's lunch. Bring a dish and plan for a feast at Saturday's potluck in the old lodge building.

We'll not have portable johns at this event, so bring your own honey pot, or other system, for your comfort.
