Come join the Phoenix 99s at A39 (Ak Chin Regional) for a fun spot landing competition complete with prizes and bragging rights. On Sat. 4/18/15 a flight brief will be given at 8 am and then the competition is scheduled to begin at 9 am. On 4/17/ and 4/18/15 there are optional, free non-sponsored camp outs with a bon-fire each night. Bring a tent or RV. Parking, camping and tie downs are free. Come join the Phoenix 99s at A39 Ak Chin for a fun spot landing competition complete with prizes and bragging rights. Pilot briefing will be at 8 am on 4/18/15.  Flight competition is scheduled to begin after briefing at 9 am.

On 4/17/ and 4/18/15 come for the free, non-sponsored dry camping with a camp fire and probably some tall tales of no truth each night.  (Porta-johns available)

Registration donation (minimum $40 donation) for pilots includes participation in the spot landing contest, and dinner. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place. For spectators, it includes viewing the contest, and dinner.  Dinner arrangements are still being made, but it will be yummy!   Refunds will be given in the event of a rain out.

Really cool t-shirts are available too to commemorate your attendance.  Numbers are limited so be sure to pre-buy to assure getting one.

Desert Rat Aviation and Desert Aero Club will be offering a pre-flight inspection contest on Saturday Evening and a seminar on buying and restoring an airplane.

Feel free to bring a tent or RV. Parking and tie downs are free. Registration strongly suggested.  Flying participation is limited to the first 15 pilot to register. Day of event registration will be $10 more for pilots if space is available and $5 more for spectators.

All profits go to The Phoenix 99s Scholarship fund.  The Ninety-Nines is the international organization of women pilots that promotes advancement of aviation through education, scholarships, and mutual support while honoring our unique history and sharing our passion for flight.

How do I get my ticket?  There are no tickets to print out.  Your name will be on a will-call list at the event. 

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?  Yes

Is my ticket refundable?  Only in the event of a rain-out or a rescheduling.
