Civil Air Patrol progran focused on night flying, non-towered airport operations and Search and Rescue survival.

Brief Description:
The Civil Air Patrol, Verde Valley Squadron based at Sedona Airport will host the Safety Seminar focused on night flying, non-towered airport operations and search and rescue (SAR) survival. Topics will include impact of flight plans on SAR, ELT capabilities and survival rates. GAARMS (G.A. Accident Risk Mitigation Symposium) update on GA safety experiences in Arizona. A briefing will also be given on Sedona Airport operations, wind and terrain factors at the airport and traffic considerations.
