Date and Time: Thursday, September 14, 2017, starting at 18:30 Arizona
Speaker(s): Brent Crow
Brief Description:
The FAA has released new revised standards when it comes to Aviation English Language proficiency for applicants for certificates. We will review the Circular, and discuss things to look for and what to do if you ever find yourself instructing a non-native English speaker. Secondly, we will host an open discussion regarding "when do I take over controls from my student?" Some case studies, tips and techniques will be provided up front with the goal to have you walking away with a solid foundation from which to build on to enhance your cockpit safety during any dual instructional flight. The goal of course is to prevent loss of control accidents in training.
