The Greatest Challenge in GA

General Aviations #1 Cause of Accidents

Date and Time:  Saturday, January 26, 2019, starting at 09:00 Arizona

Speaker(s): Cary Grant

Brief Description:

Surprisingly, loss-of-control accidents fall into ten sub-categories which grouped together are the number one cause of General Aviation accidents, with a high percentage of them fatal. It is hard to imagine losing control of an airplane in flight. But far too frequently that is exactly what happens and usually with serious results. These accidents happen in both VFR and IMC conditions, during the day and at night. They are not limited to inexperienced or VFR only pilots. At this informative briefing we will discuss strategies to help you prevent losing control.  We will have the opportunity to discuss several pertinent case studies with the group.

Our program speaker is retired USAF Lt. Col. Cary Grant who is currently a United Airlines Captain and also flies his own airplane.  Cary has continuously updated and refined this excellent presentation for several years.  Highly recommended by past attendees.
