Hey, we're getting closer to Aerofair and hope we can keep spreading the word to pilots who want to visit and possibly camp. Here are some highlights we want to get out there:
- Camping fees waived for Aerofair! Friday night is free.
- Free movie at the airport! We are showing TOP GUN: Maverick on Friday evening at 6:20 pm. The Lion's club will be selling popcorn, cotton candy and snow cones.
- Free pancake breakfast for all pilots camping overnight or flying in on Saturday morning from 8 am to 10 am. Limit of 2 meals per plane. Additional passengers can purchase a meal for $8.
- The Army Aviation Heritage Foundation will be here providing rides in their vintage Huey and Cobra helicopters. Discounted tickets can be purchased ahead of time from our website.
- Pilots who wish to display their aircraft can enter our free People's Choice awards. Top three winners get a very nice homemade plaque that would nicely adorn any hangar.
- Temperatures are predicted to be 35 in the morning with a high of 69. (Grapevine btw is forecasted to be 119 :)
