Summer temperatures are upon us in Phoenix. Airplanes and pilots fly on Indicated Airspeed. But what does the physics of elevated temperatures do to our True Airspeed? What about engine performance? With higher true airspeeds required to takeoff, what happens to our pilot perspective of performance and stopping margins?

You may also obtain WINGS credit by adding your name and email address to the WINGS credit sheet at the seminar, but if you do this, please make sure that the email address you use is registered on www.faasafety.gov. You must have an FAASafety.gov email address to receive WINGS credit.
