Summer temperatures are upon us in Phoenix. Airplanes and pilots fly on Indicated Airspeed. But what does the physics of elevated temperatures do to our True Airspeed? What about engine performance? With higher true airspeeds required to takeoff, what happens to our pilot perspective of performance and stopping margins?

When you pre-register for seminars, you insure that credit is correctly applied to you. When you attend the program a WINGS credit sheet will be available at the registration desk. The WINGS credit sheet is what actually gets you WINGS credit for attending the event. Make sure you initial it next to your name. You may also obtain WINGS credit by adding your name and email address to the WINGS credit sheet at the seminar, but if you do this, please make sure that the email address you use is registered on www.faasafety.gov. You must have an FAASafety.gov email address to receive WINGS credit.
