Brief Description:
Attendees will learn about the opportunities for airplane camping within the state and the hazards associated with flying into our backcountry strips. They will also discuss the hazards associated with overloading the aircraft and review proper methods for calculating an aircraft's weight and balance.

From Phoenix - Use Interstate 10 Westbound
Follow I-10 Westbound to exit 109, Sun Valley Parkway / Palo Verde Road.
Turn South on Palo Verde Road to W. Buckeye Airport entrance.
Note: Parking restrictions for event parking may be in place. Follow local signage for designated parking areas.
Look for Forum Tents. We will be in the Arizona Pilots Association tent.
From Tucson - Use I-10 Westbound
Follow I-10 West to Phoenix.
Follow I-10 to Exit 109, S. Palo Verde Rd. / Sun Valley Pkwy.
Follow S. Palo Verde Rd to W. Buckeye Airport entrance.

From Flagstaff - Use I-17 Southbound
Follow I-17 S toward Phoenix.
Take Exit 221 for Arizona 303 Loop S toward Sonoran Desert Drive.
Take the exit onto Interstate 10.
Follow I-10 to Exit 109, S. Palo Verde Rd. / Sun Valley Parkway.
Follow S. Palo Verde Rd. to W. Buckeye Airport entrance.
