Hi Everyone,
Just thought I'd share a few photos from Saturday's flight. 17 aircraft with 24 pilots and passengers.... a new record for our Saturday day trip events! We had one Long-EZ experience a gear issue on landing, but it was moved from the runway to the ramp for repairs. Pilots came from all parts of Arizona, which was particularly great to see, and the restaurant did a great job handling this large group of folks.
Separately, for those of you who might attend next month's fly out to Show Low, our original intention was to shuttle to a local restaurant after everyone landed. However, I've been notified that the Show Low EAA chapter is having a pancake breakfast that morning and asked if we'd join them. Please email me with your preferences (EAA pancake breakfast or local restaurant breakfast) and we'll plan accordingly.
