Hello APA Pilots,
August has arrived and so have thoughts of the 2026-2027 Grapevine Fly In Weekends. I encourage any pilot that hasn’t attended a weekend to come and join us. You may be surprised at what you have missed.
Grapevine airstrip is one of a kind. An asphalt runway on the edge of Roosevelt Lake. Not far from the valley or any area of Arizona. In addition, we have had pilots from New Mexico, Texas, and California fly in and join us.
The weekends start in October and end in April. Once a month we will gather and enjoy the great, clear, and bright starlight nights and sunny days. We will have a great Saturday dinner, and during the warmer months, Saturday night movies will return.
So, this is where I ask for hosting volunteers! The host has the honor of welcoming pilots and providing dinner. If you have any questions, please contact me.
