We're kicking off the flying season here in Colorado with our second annual fly-in at La Garita Creek Ranch. Located in the San Luis Valley, it's a pilots playground for backcountry airstrips and flying fun. Hooper Sand Dunes Pool has also invited the group back for lunch and a warm soak.

Over twenty APA pilots and spouses gathered together for our quarterly Social Hour on February 27th at McFadden’s in Phoenix. This was our second such event with the focus being a social setting “away from the hangar”. Everyone enjoyed a no host happy hour menu and a raffle where we raised over $70 for the APA Scholarship Fund.

25 pilots and spouses of the Arizona Pilots Association held their first Social Hour on October 29th at K O’Donnell’s Bar & Grille in Scottsdale. This was the first of what we hope will become a quarterly meet and greet event for our organization.
